Oak Creek Storm U12 Wins the Championship at the New Berlin Heat Baseball Tournament

The U12 Oak Creek Storm traveled to New Berlin, Wisconsin to test their baseball skills against a field of 12 solid teams from the region. Led by strong pitching, timely hitting, aggressive base running and tough defense, the Storm began by winning their pool play games by defeating Whitefish Bay and the Muskego Storm. Next up were the Oak Creek Lightning who also won their pool play. The Storm came out on top and advanced to the Championship game against the Wind Lake Screaming Eagles. In the Championship game, the Storm ended up on the winning end by a score of 11-1.

 

During the entire tournament, the Storm outscored their opponents by a combined score of 42-5. The Storm is starting to heat up just in time for their trip to Cooperstown!!

 

Congratulations to the U12 Storm! The players on the U12 Storm are Brad Bautch, Josh Duchniak, DJ Ellifson, Gannon Goldensoph, Alec Kent, Mitchell Magyar, Matt McCarty, Joe Richter, Zach Teschendorf, RJ Traxel and Eric Wendt. They are led by head coach Ron Traxel and assistant coaches Steve Bautch, Grant Goldensoph and Jeff Teschendorf.
