Renegades Football Hosting Team Combine/Tryout
The Oak Creek Renegades semi-pro football team will be hosting their first annual team combine/tryout on Friday, March 19th at the Milwaukee County Sports Complex. The event will start sharply at 7:00PM and may last as long as 10:00PM.
Anyone interested in playing for the Renegades for the 2010 season should attend this tryout. The biggest need on the team currently are offensive linemen. However, all positions are open for competition and encourage anyone interested to attend the tryout.
The cost is $20 which includes a t-shirt. Players that register and pays by the end of February will get their name screen printed on the back of the shirt.
For the 2010 season, the Oak Creek Renegades will be playing in the Wisconsin State Football League (WSFL), Wisconsin's only fall 11-man league. The WSFL currently consists of 8 teams with the Renegades being the only Milwaukee-based team. Games will be on Saturdays with practices taking place on Wednesday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
