Oak Creek West Students Receive Presidential Award

June 17, 2013

Oak Creek West Middle School eighth-grade students have earned Presidential Awards for Outstanding Academic Excellence and Achievement. Students received pins, certificates, and a congratulatory letter from President Bush.

The Gold Award for Academic Excellence is awarded to students who show outstanding achievement in one or more core subjects. The students demonstrate high motivation, initiative, integrity, intellectual depth and leadership qualities. The following students received the Presidential Academic Excellence Award:

Casey Becker, Kathryn Brauner, Anna Dragotta, Gabriella Guibord, Jarrod Kaczanowski, Elliot Koss, Nkaziewoh Nchinda-Pungong, Samara Pagach, Alissa Schroeder, Jenna Srnec, Malik Whittington, and Taylor Williams.

The White Award for Academic Achievement is given to students who have demonstrated outstanding educational growth, improvement, and commitment. The following students received the Presidential Academic Achievement Award:

Elham Abdallah, Zan Akbar, Alexis Cuda, Brandon Gibas, Berkeley Saak, Altamese Smith, Nathaniel Stephens, and Jamie Wahl.
