Woman was struck after argument about friend being hit in the groin

A woman was struck in the face at least five times after an argument about her friend being hit in the groin for being "too touchy" with a different female Aug. 9.

According to the Oak Creek police report:

The woman reported an unknown female struck her in the face at least five times as they were leaving Bootz Saloon and Grill, 8950 S. 27th St., about 2 a.m. Aug. 9.

The woman said the suspect hit her after they had an argument over the victim's male friend being hit in the groin for being "too touchy" with an unknown female. The suspect was described as a female with long, dark hair down to her waist and was wearing circular, black glasses, a long reddish/brown dress and rings on her right hand.

The victim, who went to the hospital for a laceration to her left cheek, also stated that during the argument her purse containing two wallets went missing in the parking lot.

Police have the name of a possible suspect.
