BURGLARY

1A resident called to report $300 of copper tubing was taken from his residence in the 2400 block of West Rawson Avenue between 5 p.m. June 29 and 4:30 p.m. June 30.

THEFT

2A black suitcase containing clothing, running shoes and a box of cigars were taken from a locked truck parked at Comfort Suites, 6362 S. 13th St., between 4:45 and 7 a.m. June 26. The unknown suspect(s) smashed the front driver's side window to gain access.

3A 52-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting two hex wrenches at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at 12:50 p.m. June 26.

4A girl's bicycle, valued at $100, was taken from a front yard in the 10800 block of South 10th Avenue between 8:30 p.m. June 21 and 3 p.m. June 22.

5A woman's black leather wallet containing $30, a debit card, a credit card and a driver's license was taken from a vehicle parked in the lot at Walgreens, 9449 S. Howell Ave., on June 26. The victim stated three fraudulent transactions totaling $929 had been made on her debit card, and several thousand dollars' worth of fraudulent charges were made on the credit card.

6A black 2008 Victory Hammer motorcycle with silver racing stripes, shotgun exhaust pipes and a batwing front faring was taken from the Timber Ridge Apartments, 1750 W. Timber Ridge Lane, between 9:45 p.m. June 17 and 5:25 a.m. June 28. The motorcycle is valued at $20,000.

7A 32-inch LCD flat screen TV, a video game console, an electric cooler, eight speakers, three amplifiers, and two car batteries were taken from a van in the 1200 block of West Riverside Drive between 12:30 p.m. June 27 and 3 p.m. June 29. A dashboard stereo was also damaged during the incident. Total loss is estimated at $10,000.

8Three air-conditioning condenser units, valued at $6,000, were taken from a foreclosed property in the 6900 block of South 20th Street between June 8 and June 28.

9A 47-year-old man and a 49-year-old man, both of South Milwaukee, were arrested for shoplifting after they were seen taking a more expensive toilet flush valve out of its packaging and putting it into a box with a lower price at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at noon July 1.

10A 31-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting $17 of cosmetics at Pick 'n Save, 6462 S. 27th St., at 5:10 p.m. July 1.

11A green 1996 Yamaha 350cc quad ATV, valued at $2,000, was taken from outside a garage in the 9900 block of South Nicholson Road between 6 p.m. June 30 and 5:40 p.m. July 1.

12A 50-pound concrete statue of St. Francis, valued at $250, was taken from a yard in the 9600 block of South Chicago Road sometime between June 8 and July 1.

ASSAULT

13A 44-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for fourth degree sexual assault after he allegedly grabbed a co-worker's buttocks and touched her breasts on several occasions at Green Man Wood Services, 9000 S. Nicholson Road, at 4:05 p.m. June 28. The alleged assaults took place June 19 and 20.

DRUG POSSESSION

14A 39-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after canine Officer Bronco located a cooker with heroin residue on the inside of the driver's side door during a traffic stop in the 7300 block of South Howell Avenue at 6 p.m. June 27.

15A 24-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed weapon after police located a marijuana blunt and a six-inch hunting knife in his vehicle during a traffic stop in the 1400 block of West Ryan Road shortly after 4 p.m. June 28.

16A 25-year-old Mukwonago man was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a park and a probation violation after police found a bag containing less than one gram of heroin in his pants pocket during a traffic stop in the 9300 block of South Eighth Street at 3 a.m. June 30. A 19-year-old South Milwaukee man, who was a passenger in his car, was also arrested for bail jumping.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

17A 50-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, drinking open intoxicants in a vehicle and operating with prohibited alcohol content in the 1300 block of East Elm Road at 12:05 p.m. June 30.

ACCIDENTS

18A 30-year-old Caledonia woman was transported to the hospital with chest pain when the vehicle she was riding in was struck by a truck making a left turn onto 20th Street from westbound Ryan Road at 6:55 p.m. June 29. The driver of the truck, a 65-year Jackson man, was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn.

19A 72-year-old Oak Creek man was transported to Wheaton Franciscan with abrasions on his elbows after he stepped into a crosswalk and was struck by a car making a right turn at the intersection of Howell Avenue and Puetz Road at 11:40 a.m. The driver of the vehicle, a 55-year-old Greendale woman, was cited for failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.

VANDALISM

20Police responding to a vandalism call at Oak Creek City Hall, 8640 S. Howell Ave., found two yellow school buses sustained an estimated $500 in damages between 12:15 and 5 p.m. June 25 and between 12:15 to 1 p.m. June 26. The buses had been used by the Oak Creek Recreation Department for "Teen Arcade Adventures" sponsored by the department on those dates. Specific information about the damage and exact repair costs are pending a recreation department review.

21A 27-year-old South Milwaukee man was cited for criminal damage to property after he damaged a headlight on a company vehicle with a tire iron after a road rage incident at Mid-America Steel Drum, 8570 S. Chicago Road, shortly before 3 p.m. June 27.

22A car was egged and the side rearview mirror was torn off while parked in the 700 block of East Groveland Drive before 9 a.m. June 29. Damage is estimated at $300.

OTHER

23A male customer attempted to pass $160 in counterfeit $20 bills at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at noon June 27. The suspect attempted to pass eight $20 bills to pay for $196 worth of merchandise. When confronted, the suspect fled the store in a silver Dodge Caravan with Illinois license plates.

24A 19-year-old Kenosha man was arrested for underage drinking after an employee reported a young male lying on the ground outside of the gate at Ryan Road Self Storage, 840 W. Ryan Road, at 9:10 p.m. June 27. After officers woke up the suspect he admitted to drinking vodka and orange juice at the Ryan Road Park'n Ride before going to Summerfest. The suspect did not know how he got to the storage facility. His preliminary blood alcohol content was 0.21.

25A 51-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he broke a toilet and a window and refused to pay for the damage at the Victoria Motel, 10131 S. Chicago Road, at 7:45 p.m. June 28.

26A 20-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for underage drinking after he was heard arguing loudly with a woman while the two were locked in a stall in the women's restroom at Love's Travel Center, 8650 S. 20th St., at 3:20 a.m. June 29.

FIRE CALLS

27Police and firefighters responded to a report of a fire in the men's restroom at Bender Park, 4503 W. Ryan Road, at 5:25 p.m. June 30. Someone lit a toilet paper roll on fire, but an employee put the fire out before firefighters arrived at the scene.

Oak Creek police responded to four domestic violence calls and assisted with 12 rescue calls and one fire call between June 26 and July 1.
