BURGLARY
1A cased bow and arrow set, a mountain bike, four Bucyrus collectible mining shovel models, a pop-up tent, a six-person tent and a three-piece luggage set were reported stolen from two secured storage lockers at an apartment complex in the 6300 block of South 20th Street at 6:10 p.m. July 6. The owners of the lockers stated the thefts occurred during the past two weeks. Loss is estimated at $4,195.
THEFT
2An 18-year-old Greenfield man and a 17-year-old Oak Creek boy were arrested for shoplifting seven packages of Coricidin, a $43 value, at Pick 'n Save, 8770 S. Howell Ave., at 2:30 p.m. July 2. The thefts took place June 27.
3A 35-year-old Milwaukee man was cited for shoplifting a $299 television by unplugging it from its display and concealing it in a backpack at Love's Travel Center, 9650 S. 20th St., after 3 p.m. July 2. The theft occurred June 29.
4A $75 GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the parking lot at Springbrook Cercle Apartments, 315 W. Rainbow Ridge Drive, between 8 p.m. July 1 and 10:20 a.m. July 2.
5A $25 TJ Maxx gift card, a $15 Barnes & Noble gift card, a fitness center card and an American Family Insurance card were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Springbrook Cercle Apartments, 315 W. Rainbow Ridge Drive, between 8 p.m. July 1 and 11 a.m. July 2.
6A credit card, bank statements and $50 were stolen from an unlocked car in the 300 block of West Lagoon Lane between 9:30 p.m. July 1 and 1:45 p.m. July 2.
7A .22-caliber rifle with scope, 500 rounds of ammunition and a car key with remote were stolen from an unlocked truck in an open garage in the 1100 block of West Riverside Drive between midnight and 8:10 a.m. July 2. Loss is estimated at $690.
8A 23-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen switching a $57 price tag for a $27 price tag on a dual measuring wheel at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at 12:55 p.m. July 4.
9A manager reported three people ordered and ate a $58 meal and left without paying at Applebee's, 7135 S. 13th St., at 9:35 p.m. July 5.
10Seven packages were reported stolen out of a locked Fed Ex truck parked at the Twi-Lite Motel, 10126 S. 27th St., at 7:45 p.m. July 6. The theft occurred between 8 p.m. June 29 and 7 a.m. June 30. It is unknown what was in the stolen boxes.
11A silver 2002 Kawasaki ZX1200 motorcycle, valued at $3,500, was stolen from a parking lot near the 6400 block of South 20th Street between 1 and 10 a.m. July 7.
12An employee reported a person had just wrestled him to the ground and fled when he tried to detain him for shoplifting two packs of razors and a Brewers pouch, a total value of $68, at Pick 'n Save, 6462 S. 27th St., at 4:30 p.m. July 7.
13A cellphone charger and a heater core were stolen from two cars parked in the 3400 block of East Carollton Drive between 9:30 p.m. July 7 and 10 a.m. July 8. Loss is estimated at $170.
14A $50 leather briefcase and $200 Oakley prescription glasses were stolen from a car in an unlocked garage in the 1100 block of East Prairie View Drive between 11 p.m. July 7 and 1 p.m. July 8.
15A 30-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing $11 worth of merchandise in his pants at Speedway, 8667 S. Howell Ave., at 8:35 a.m. July 8.
16A renter stole two televisions, a value of $1,000, from a room at Comfort Suites, 6362 S. 13th St., between 9:19 p.m. July 8 and 11 a.m. July 9.
17A driver left without paying for $39 worth of gas at Kwik Trip, 9535 S. 13th St., at 1 p.m. July 9.
DRUNKEN DRIVING
18A 59-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for drunken driving in the 100 block of East Rawson Avenue at 1:40 a.m. July 3. His blood-alcohol content was 0.14.
19A 28-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, and cited for speeding in the 7600 block of South Howell Avenue at 1:30 a.m. July 4. He was taken to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.
20A 64-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, third offense, after he backed his truck into a motorcycle that was parked at The Saloon, 120 E. Rawson Ave., at 7:20 p.m. July 6. He was taken for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.
21A 30-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 1200 block of West Puetz Road at 3:50 a.m. July 7. Her BAC was 0.19.
22A 31-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving after police received several reports of an intoxicated driver heading south on Interstate-94 and exiting on the off ramp in the 1800 block of West Rawson Avenue at 1:40 a.m. July 8. His BAC was 0.17.
ACCIDENTS
23A 58-year-old Oak Creek woman was taken to Wheaton Franciscan with arm pain after her vehicle was struck by a car that ran a red light at Highway 100 and Nicholson Road at 7:50 a.m. July 2. The driver of the striking car, a 25-year-old Mukwonago woman, was cited for running a red light.
VANDALISM
24A car was scratched while parked in Aldi's parking lot, 6810 S. 27th St., prior to 3 p.m. July 8. Damage is estimated at $400.
OTHER
25MADACC removed 20 cats from a home in the 3400 block of East Carollton Drive after a city employee called for officer assistance at a residence with possible hoarding issues at 10:50 a.m. July 2. A Health Department investigation is ongoing.
26Two 19-year-old Kenosha men and an 18-year-old Franksville man were cited for underage possession of alcohol after one of the men stumbled off a bus at the Ryan Road Park-and-Ride lot, 1450 W. Ryan Road, at 9:50 p.m. July 3. A 20-year-old woman and a 19-year-old woman, both of Racine, who came to pick up the men also were found to be intoxicated and were cited as well.
27A 41-year-old Oak Creek man was cited for igniting fireworks in the 900 block of East Connie Lane just after 9 p.m. July 4.
28A 22-year-old Illinois man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he was seen breaking glass bottles outside an apartment in the 8600 block of South Ventana Drive at 9:45 p.m. July 6.
29A 17-year-old girl and two 16-year-old girls, all of Oak Creek, were cited for disorderly conduct after a physical altercation in the 7500 block of South Pine Avenue at 4 p.m. July 7.
30A 23-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after officers found a needle and a metal cooker in his pants pocket at 20th Street and College Avenue at 8:10 p.m. July 8.
Oak Creek police responded to three domestic violence calls and assisted with 17 rescue calls and five fire calls between July 2 and July 9.
