1A silver mug containing about $15 in change and a $200 Kindle Fire were stolen from a home in the 8300 block of South Yorkshire Drive between 8:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Dec. 17. The front door was forced open, causing $200 worth of damage.
2A videogame system, valued at $150, a safe containing $200 and a revolver were stolen from a home in the 2300 block of West Rawson Avenue between 8:30 p.m. Dec. 21 and 2:55 a.m. Dec. 22. An exterior door was forced open.
3A Mac Book Pro, valued at $1,100, was stolen from a home in the 2400 block of West Colonial Wood Drive between Dec. 21 and Dec. 30. The home was entered through a second-story balcony door.
4A manager at Farm & Fleet, 501 W. Rawson Ave., reported that a man shoplifted a total of six Google Tablets, valued at $1,200, and one $20 tablet case during incidents Dec. 14 and Dec. 17. The man is described as a 6-foot-tall white man between the ages of 20 and 25 with brown hair. He removed the tablets from an unsecured storage area near the electronics department. Police have photos of the man.
5A $25 phone charger and a wallet containing $85, a driver's license, credit and debit cards, a Social Security card and insurance cards were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in a driveway in the 500 block of East Evandale Drive between 8 a.m. Dec. 16 and 1:45 a.m. Dec. 17.
6Two women were arrested for stealing $215 worth of groceries and other items at Aldi, 6810 S. 27th St., about 7:05 p.m. Dec. 18. They fled but were found by police in the parking lot at McDonald's on 13th Street and College Avenue, where it was discovered they were in possession of items stolen from a nearby Speedway. One of the women also was cited for driving with a suspended license and the other was arrested on a West Allis Police Department warrant for retail theft.
7The rear license plate was stolen off a truck parked at Classic Lanes, 7501 S. Howell Ave., between 6:45 and 10:45 p.m. Dec. 18.
8An employee reported that a man fraudulently used five credit cards to purchase 14 reloadable cash cards, a total value of $7,152, at 7-Eleven, 1225 W. Rawson Ave., between 3:42 and 4:02 a.m. Dec. 19. At the time of the report, police and the business were investigating the transactions to confirm the transactions were fraudulent.
9A woman reported her clutch bag/wallet containing $50 and debit/credit cards and personal identification cards was stolen while she was shopping at Pick 'n Save, 6462 S. 27th St., about 4:30 p.m. Dec. 19. The clutch was eventually turned into customer service, but the cash was missing.
10A male attempted to steal cigarettes from behind the counter at Speedway, 8667 S. Howell Ave., and then fled when caught by a clerk about 2:55 a.m. Dec. 20. A canine officer attempted to track the suspect, who is described as a 6-foot-tall man with a red beard and wearing a camouflage jacket with a gray hood, but was unable to find him.
11A man stole a $25 field bag and used it to conceal at least $225 worth of additional merchandise at Farm & Fleet, 501 W. Rawson Ave., about 12:45 p.m. Dec. 20. He left the store through the northwest emergency exit.
12A female employee was cited for theft for taking $460 from PDQ Food Store, 6300 S. 27th St., between Dec. 20 and Dec. 24.
13A male was arrested at 9:10 a.m. Dec. 21 for shoplifting $64 worth of alcohol on Dec. 13 and $82 worth of alcohol on Dec. 16 at Pick 'n Save, 8770 S. Howell Ave. He was identified due to a previous arrest at the Greenfield Pick 'n Save. He was issued two citations for trespassing.
14A man and woman stole a $25 duffel bag and used it to conceal additional merchandise at Farm & Fleet, 501 W. Rawson Ave., about 5:40 p.m. Dec. 21. The man was identified as the same person involved in a similar incident Dec. 20. Surveillance footage was provided to police.
15A yellow purse containing two credit cards and a passport was stolen out of a vehicle at Woodman's, 8131 S. Howell Ave., between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Dec. 22.
16A wallet containing a credit card was stolen from a dressing room at Target, 8989 S. Howell Ave., between noon and 1 p.m. Dec. 22. The victim later reported her credit card had been used to make fraudulent purchases at Walmart and McDonald's.
17A man stole a donation jar containing about $17 from the reception desk at Mainstay Suites, 1001 W. College Ave., between 7:45 and 8 p.m. Dec. 22. There is surveillance video of the incident.
18A canvas bag containing 10 painkillers and an employee identification card was stolen out of a locked vehicle at Affiliated Health of Wisconsin, 7001 S. Howell Ave., between 3:15 and 3:35 p.m. Dec. 23. One of the vehicle's windows was smashed out. The ID card was later found and returned to the victim.
19A $400 computer, a $400 digital projector, a $150 external hard drive, a bottle containing a prescription painkiller and a $65 backpack were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at T.J. Maxx, 8571 S. Howell Ave., between 3:45 and 4:30 p.m. Dec. 23.
20A leather purse containing $250 worth of makeup, $165 in cash and two gold rings with emeralds and diamonds, valued at $300 each, was stolen from a locked vehicle at Walgreens, 9449 S. Howell Ave., between 4 and 4:40 p.m. Dec. 23. One of the vehicle's windows was broken, causing $300 worth of damage.
21A $25 Culver's gift card was stolen out of a locked vehicle at American TV, 9191 S. 13th St., between 4:15 and 4:55 p.m. Dec. 23. One of the vehicle's windows was smashed, causing about $500 worth of damage.
22Three duffel bags, valued at $200 each, containing about $3,000 worth of hunting clothes were stolen out of a locked vehicle at Oak Creek Relief & Wellness, 1900 W. Ryan Road, between 4:35 and 4:55 p.m. Dec. 23. One of the vehicle's windows was smashed out, causing about $500 damage.
23A package containing three protein shakes was stolen after being delivered to a home in the 1200 block of East Sommers Drive before 3:30 p.m. Dec. 24.
24Three people broke into five arcade and video poker games and stole about $100 at Classic Lanes, 7501 S. Howell Ave., between 8 and 10 p.m. Dec. 25. The perpetrators, described as a black man in his mid-30s, a black female in her mid-30s and another black female in her mid-30s who is missing several front teeth, left the business in an early 1990s white Honda Accord with tinted windows.
25Two women stole a cart filled with food from Woodman's, 8131 S. Howell Ave., about 1:25 p.m. Dec. 26. Police have a suspect.
26A female was cited for shoplifting a cartload of groceries at Woodman's, 8131 S. Howell Ave., at 2:15 p.m. Dec. 28.
27A man stole $100 from a woman during a craigslist.com transaction in the 8800 block of South Oak Park Drive about 4:15 p.m. Dec. 30. The woman was to buy a cellphone from the man, described as a thin black man about 18- to 20-years-old and driving a rusty, old red minivan. She gave him a $100 bill and accepted the iPhone 4S cellphone. When she gave the phone back to him to unlock it, he fled with her $100 and the cellphone.
28A male student was arrested for battery after he pushed another student over in his desk at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, and then shoved the school resource officer three times and wrestled him to the ground while the officer was attempting to restrain him about 2:25 p.m. Dec. 20.
29A boy was cited for possession of marijuana after the school resource officer found the drug in his backpack at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, about 2:40 p.m. Dec. 17.
30A male was arrested for maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of marijuana with intent to deliver after police found $2,999 and two pounds of marijuana in a hotel room that was supposed to be unoccupied at Days Inn, 1201 W. College Ave., at 8:45 p.m. Dec. 25. At least one other person jumped out a window before police entered the room, but they were not found.
31A male was arrested for possession of marijuana after police found a gum container with three grams of THC in it on a counter in a room at La Quinta, 7141 S. 13th St., at 7:35 p.m. Dec. 26.
32A male was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a canine officer found a plastic bag containing six grams of marijuana and a silver pipe in his jeans during a knock and talk at La Quinta, 7141 S. 13th St., at 6:40 p.m. Dec. 28.
33A woman was arrested for possession of marijuana after police observed a half-smoked blunt and a plastic bag containing THC in her room during a knock and talk at Villa Vista, 8060 S. 27th St., at 2:10 a.m. Dec. 29.
34A woman was arrested for drunken driving and cited for driving with a suspended license after her car slid into a ditch in the 10100 block of South Shepard Avenue about 1:30 a.m. Dec. 20. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.20.
35A man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, and resisting/obstructing an officer in the 7600 block of South Howell Avenue about 12:10 a.m. Dec. 23. Police found his vehicle in his driveway, and had to stun him with a stun gun to subdue him after he became confrontational, ordered police off his property and physically assaulted an officer. His BAC was was 0.24.
