Police Report: Dec. 4

THEFT

1Two hundred wooden pallets, valued at $5 each, were stolen from the north parking lot at AIM Transfer & Storage, 7774 S. 10th St., between 2 p.m. Nov. 23 and 8:30 a.m. Nov. 27.

2A 21-year-old Franksville man was arrested for shoplifting 25 saw blades, valued at $127, at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at 3 p.m. Nov. 27.

3A 26-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman, both of Milwaukee, were arrested for shoplifting $810 worth of powdered baby formula, a $50 hamper and a $9 tote at Target, 8989 S. Howell Ave., at 3:45 p.m. Nov. 27. The women are suspected of being involved in several other shoplifting incidents in the area.

4An iPod Touch was stolen out of a classroom at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, between 8:30 and 9:20 a.m. Nov. 28.

5The owner of Behrens Moving, 500 W. Rawson Ave., called police at 2 p.m. Nov. 28 to report a $70 battery was stolen out of a van and a $200 aluminum plate for a trailer lift was stolen from the rear of the property sometime during the past 30 days.

6An iPod Touch, valued at $300, was stolen from a student's backpack in the boys locker room during a swim meet at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, between 2:50 and 5:45 p.m. Nov. 29.

7A 61-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting a battery pack at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., shortly before 4 p.m. Nov. 30.

8A 74-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for shoplifting $29 worth of groceries at Woodman's, 8131 S. Howell Ave., at 4:20 p.m. Nov. 30.

9An unidentified man stole a smartphone, valued at $550, by taking it off a display and concealing it in his jacket pocket at the Sprint store, 8171 S. Howell Ave., about 6:20 p.m. Nov. 30.

10A 15-year-old South Milwaukee boy was arrested for shoplifting a $70 Leatherman multi-tool at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 2.

11A handmade wooden lawn ornament, "Perry the Platypus," was stolen from a yard in the 7900 block of South Cecily Drive between 6:45 a.m. and 4 p.m. Dec. 3. "Perry" is valued at $200.

DRUG POSSESSION

12A 19-year-old Cudahy woman was arrested for possession of marijuana during a traffic stop in the 1200 block of West Rawson Avenue at 3 a.m. Dec. 1.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

13A 51-year-old Franklin woman was arrested for drunken driving on 27th Street at Rawson Avenue at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 30. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.21.

14A 28-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for drunken and drugged driving, third offense, in the 8100 block of South 13th Street at 1:50 a.m. Dec. 1. He admitted to drinking and later taking Suboxone before driving. He failed field sobriety testing and a blood test was performed.

15A 23-year-old West Allis man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, after an employee called police to report a driver sleeping in his vehicle in the drive-thru lane at McDonald's, 9471 S. 13th St., at 1:45 a.m. Dec. 2. The man's BAC was 0.17.

16A 36-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, and driving with a revoked license and cited for speeding in the 400 block of West Rawson Avenue shortly after 3 a.m. Dec. 2. His BAC was 0.21.

ACCIDENTS

17A pregnant, 28-year-old Mt. Pleasant woman was taken to the hospital after her car was rear-ended by a vehicle at Rawson and Howell avenues at 4:18 p.m. Dec. 3. The driver of the other car, a 20-year-old Milwaukee man, was cited for following too closely.

18An 11-year-old boy suffered minor injuries, including scrapes and soreness to his left arm and hand, after he was struck by a car while riding his bicycle in the 600 block of West Puetz Road shortly after 4:30 p.m. Dec. 3. The driver of the vehicle, a 25-year-old South Milwaukee woman, was arrested for driving with a revoked license and failing to install ignition interlock device and received a warning for not having insurance.

VANDALISM

19A resident in the 2800 block of Honeysuckle Drive reported all four tires were slashed on his vehicle either Nov. 24 or Nov. 25. Damage is estimated at $168.

20A 36-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for vandalism in the 6400 block of South Crabapple Court after he threw a laptop computer during a fight with his wife, causing the screen to break at 12:30 a.m. Dec. 4.

OTHER

21A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for trespassing and resisting/obstructing an officer at Milwaukee Area Technical College, 6665 S. Howell Ave., at 10:45 a.m. Nov. 27. The man had been issued a no trespassing order Nov. 19 and refused to obey commands when confronted by an officer.

22A resident reported seeing a 200- to 300-pound cougar in the area of Howell Avenue and Elm Road about 7:25 p.m. Dec. 1. The animal was about 25 feet away from the road and it was described as having bright eyes and big ears. Officers were unable to find the animal.

23A 26-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for a probation/parole violation after he became intoxicated and tried to enter locked vehicles in the parking lot at Candlewood Suites, 6440 S. 13th St., at 3:24 a.m. Dec. 2.

24A 15-year-old girl and a 14-year-old girl, both of Milwaukee, were cited for disorderly conduct after a physical altercation at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, at noon Dec. 3.

Oak Creek police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with 10 rescue calls and two fire calls between Nov. 27 and Dec. 2.
