BURGLARY

1An Xbox 360 Elite, two controllers and a videogame were stolen from a residence in the 8300 block of South Yorkshire Drive between 4:45 and 10 p.m. Aug. 21. Loss is estimated at $250.

THEFT

2Two Army National Guard backpacks were stolen from the trunk of a locked vehicle at the Ryan Road Park and Ride, 1450 W. Ryan Road, between 3 p.m. Aug. 17 and 3 p.m. Aug. 21. A window was smashed to gain access. Damage is estimated at $150.

3A $1,000 generator was stolen out of an unlocked truck at Fun Services, 185 W. Rawson Ave., between 7 p.m. Aug. 17 and 11:30 a.m. Aug. 18.

4A $2,434 16-foot utility trailer was stolen from an unsecured area at Hanna Trailers, 7575 S. Howell Ave., between 7:30 a.m. Aug. 20 and 12:30 p.m. Aug. 27.

5A 26-year-old Racine man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing a $20 socket in his pocket at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at 12:30 p.m. Aug. 21.

6A $160 GPS unit was stolen from an unlocked minivan in the 8900 block of South Parkside Drive about 1:15 a.m. Aug. 21.

7A 43-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen concealing merchandise at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at 10 a.m. Aug. 22.

8A $50 fall festival banner was stolen from the corner of 15th Avenue and Forest Hill Avenue between 11 a.m. Aug. 22 and 11 a.m. Aug. 23.

9An outboard motor was stolen off a boat in a yard in the 7200 block of South Howell Avenue between 7 p.m. Aug. 22 and 3 p.m. Aug. 23. The motor is valued at $1,000.

10A $250 CD player and a $300 GPS unit were stolen from a locked vehicle at the Ryan Road Park and Ride, 1450 W. Ryan Road, prior to 5:35 p.m. Aug. 24. A window was broken to gain access. Damage is estimated at $200.

11A 64-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for theft/fraud on a restaurant keeper after he left without paying an $83 bill for drinks and food at DiCarlo Trattoria & Pizzeria, 8469 S. Howell Ave., at 8 p.m. Aug. 25.

12A 32-year-old Racine woman was arrested for shoplifting after she was seen concealing $80 worth of makeup in her purse at Pick 'n Save, 6462 S. 27th St., at 8:15 p.m. Aug. 25.

13Four prescription medications were reported stolen by a resident in the Hy-View Mobile Home Park, 2404 W. Carroll Ave., at 11:55 a.m. Aug. 27.

14A 31-year-old Franklin man and a 26-year-old Muskego woman were arrested for shoplifting $96 worth of liquor at Pick 'n Save, 8770 S. Howell Ave., at 5:50 p.m. Aug. 27. The two face multiple charges for stealing liquor at three Pick 'n Save stores in Oak Creek multiple times between Aug. 7 and Aug. 21. Police are seeking the third suspect, a 30-year-old West Allis man, in connection with the thefts.

DRUG POSSESSION

15A 23-year-old Brookfield man was arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after canine officer Kuno found a bag of marijuana and a glass pipe in his room during a warrant arrest at Days Inn, 1201 W. College Ave., at 10:10 a.m. Aug. 22.

16A 33-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of cocaine during a traffic stop in the 1200 block of West College Avenue at 12:45 a.m. Aug. 27.

17A 33-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for possession of marijuana and cited for possession of open intoxicants in a vehicle at Howell and College avenues at 6:45 p.m. Aug. 27. A passenger in his car, a 22-year-old Wausau woman, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

18A 54-year-old Florida woman was arrested for drunken driving after she stopped her vehicle in a driveway, blocking traffic at County Materials Corp., 7200 S. 10th St., at 11:25 a.m. Aug. 23. She was taken to the hospital for a blood draw to determine her blood-alcohol content. The results were not available.

19A 44-year-old Caledonia man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, in the 2300 block of West Ryan Road shortly before 9 p.m. Aug. 23. An employee at the Dunkin Donuts drive-thru window called police after she smelled alcohol on the man's breath when he stated he was looking for the Cousin's Subs drive-thru but accidentally drove through Dunkin Donuts. His BAC was 0.14.

20A 35-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for drunken driving after he was seen speeding, passing vehicles in the right lane and crossing the center line in the 7300 block of South 13th Street at 10:20 p.m. Aug. 26. He refused field sobriety testing and was taken into custody.

ACCIDENTS

21A 65-year-old Franklin man was taken to Wheaton Franciscan for treatment of a cut on his arm after he struck a vehicle attempting to make a left-turn from southbound 27th Street into a construction area on Drexel Avenue at 2 p.m. Aug. 23. The driver of the turning vehicle, a 29-year-old Kenosha man, was cited for failure to yield the right of way while making a left turn.

22An 84-year-old Oak Creek woman was taken to St. Luke's South Shore with chest pain after her vehicle struck a vehicle making a left turn out of a driveway in the 8100 block of South Howell Avenue at 6:45 p.m. Aug. 24. The driver of the other vehicle, a 43-year-old Cudahy woman, was cited for failure to yield the right of way while making a left turn.

23A 54-year-old Oak Creek man was taken to St. Luke's Hospital with head, neck, shoulder and leg pain and a 23-year-old Franklin man was taken to the hospital with head and arm pain after their cars collided at 13th Street and Ryan Road at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 25. The Franklin man was attempting to make a left turn from northbound 13th Street onto Ryan Road when he struck the Oak Creek man's car. Citations are pending.

VANDALISM

24A car was scratched while at a residence in the 7700 block of South Delaine Drive between Aug. 8 and Aug. 20. Damage is estimated at $500.

25The word "Rave" was painted in silver and black and the words "PLUR" (peace, love, unity, respect), "HELgON" and "DISTILL" were painted in multiple colors on the bike trail tunnel in the 2300 block of East Highway 100 between Aug. 22 and Aug. 24.

26Three tires were slashed on a vehicle parked in the 8000 block of South 13th Street between 10 p.m. Aug. 24 and 8 a.m. Aug. 25. Damage is estimated at $300.

OTHER

27Police are investigating a reported sexual assault of a 13-year-old girl by a 30-year-old man at Victoria Motel, 10131 S. Chicago Road, between 2 and 8:30 p.m. Aug. 19.

28A 17-year-old South Milwaukee boy was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon in the 4000 block of East Depot Road shortly after 7:30 p.m. Aug. 21.

29A 50-year-old Oak Creek man was cited for trespassing in the 900 block of West Drexel Avenue at 8:20 a.m. Aug. 23. When an officer saw the suspect walking southbound on the Canadian Pacific railroad tracks he commanded him to stop, but the man refused. The suspect surrendered when canine officer Kuno started to search the wooded area.

30Officers investigating a report of an argument at LaQuinta arrested a 24-year-old Michigan man for possession of drug paraphernalia and a 17-year-old Michigan boy for obstructing an officer in the 7100 block of South 13th Street shortly after 3 p.m. Aug. 23.

31A 22-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for carrying concealed weapons in the 2400 block of West Briar Lake Way shortly before 4 p.m. Aug. 23. The man's girlfriend called police shortly before noon to report that the man had left her residence with two guns in a bag and fled into a wooded area. Canine officer Kuno located the bag in the wooded area prior to the arrest.

32A 23-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for obstructing an officer and was taken into custody on a South Milwaukee Police Department warrant after police were called to investigate a couple fighting in a room at Value Inn, 9420 S. 20th St., at 8 p.m. Aug. 23.

33A 45-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a crack pipe in her purse while investigating a report of prostitution in the lot at Love's Travel Center, 9650 S. 20th St., at 7:30 p.m. Aug. 25.

Oak Creek police assisted with 15 rescue calls and two fire calls between Aug. 20 and Aug. 27.
