1 Police arrested an intoxicated male for shoplifting after he was seen removing the price tags off a $45 shirt, a $25 Brewers knit hat and a $50 Brewers jersey and then attempted to leave without paying for them at Kohl's, 9035 S. Howell Ave., at about 1:50 p.m. April 30.
2 A Ruger LC9 semi-automatic pistol, valued at $380, in a $20 holster was stolen from a vehicle in the 10600 block of South McGraw Drive between 7 p.m. April 30 and 8:30 a.m. May 1.
3 A gold Rolex watch was stolen from a bedroom night stand drawer at Meadowmere Mitchell Manor, 701 E. Puetz Road, between April 10 and May 1.
4 Two chainsaws, valued at $1,000, were stolen from a locked vehicle at Wisconsin Kenilworth, 9350 S. 22nd St., between 4:30 p.m. April 28 and 10 a.m. May 1.
5 Multiple credit cards and $11 cash were stolen from a wallet in an apartment in the 400 block of West Swan Circle between 2 a.m. and 5 a.m. May 1. Subsequently, $548 in fraudulent charges using the credit cards were made at a Walmart at 8:18 a.m., followed by another attempted $200 charge at another Walmart.
6 A man was arrested for shopliftingafter he attempted to take a cart filled with meat, valued at $170, at Pick 'n Save, 6462 S. 27th St., at 10:50 a.m. May 2. When police checked the man's vehicle they found $231 worth of unpaid groceries from the Pick 'n Save on South 27th and West Loomis Road.
7 A woman was arrested for shoplifting after she took groceries off the shelves, putting them directly into grocery bags inside her cart, and then attempted to leave at Woodman's, 8131 S. Howell Ave., at about 2:30 p.m. May 2.
8 A man was arrested for shoplifting after he put a pocket knife, a strap wrench and a hex-key set down the front of his shirt at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at about 4:30 p.m. May 4.
9 The front license plate was stolen off a semi truck at Steel Warehouse of Wisconsin, 535 W. Foreset Hill Ave., between 7 p.m. May 5 and 5:15 a.m. May 6.
10 Two girls were arrested and cited for battery after they punched each other in the face on the playground at Oak Creek Middle School, 9330 S. Shepard Ave., at about 3 p.m. May 1. One of the girls admitted punching the other one because she was "talking trash" about her, and the other girl admitted punching her back. Both girls were arrested, cited and released to their parents.
11 A man was arrested for disorderly conduct/domestic violence related after he became highly intoxicated and physically grabbed and assaulted his girlfriend in the parking lot at Burger King, 1250 W. Rawson Ave., at about 3:40 p.m. May 2.
12 A female was arrested for possession of marijuana after police located one gram in a pill bottle in the back seat of her vehicle during a traffic stop on West Northbranch Drive and South 10th Street at about 5:05 p.m. May 3.
13 A man was arrested for drunken driving and cited for having open intoxicants in a vehicle in the on South Chicago Road and Highway 100 at about 3:45 p.m. April 30. A preliminary breath test indicated a blood alcohol content of 0.12.
14 A woman was arrested for drunken driving and cited for operating after suspension in the 100 block of East College Avenue at 2:35 a.m. May 3. A preliminary breath test indicated a BAC of 0.16.
15 A man was arrested for drunken driving (second offense) with a passenger under age 16 and was cited for speeding in the 500 block of East College Avenue at about 1 a.m. May 4. A preliminary breath test indicated a BAC of 0.11.
16 A man was arrested for drunken driving and received a written warning for an unsafe lane deviation in the 7900 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue at 1:45 a.m. May 4. A preliminary breath test indicated a BAC of 0.14
17 A man was arrested for drunken driving while driving a motorcycle in the 9600 block of South Shepard Avenue at about 4:25 p.m. May 4. A preliminary breath test indicated a BAC of 0.20.
18 A man was arrested for drunken driving (third offense) in the 8500 block of South Chicago Road at about 1:30 a.m. May 5. A preliminary breath test indicated a BAC of 0.15.
19 A woman was arrested for drunken driving (second offense) after an officer saw her vehicle swerving out of its lane multiple times in the 500 block of East Rawson Avenue at about 2:30 a.m. May 6. A preliminary breath test indicated a BAC of 0.16.
20 Firefighters and police responded to a small fire in the women's bathroom at The Cellar, 812 W. Oakwood Road, at about 10:20 a.m. May 1. The fire started in an exhaust fan in the bathroom, causing about $1,000 damage.
21 A program director at Oak Creek West Middle School, 8401 S. 13th St., called police after discovering a female student was sending nude photos of herself and receiving nude photos from men via Skype on her laptop computer at her home at about noon April 29. One of the girl's foster parents told police he saw sex videos on the computer that showed several males exposing their genitals. Police seized the computer and sent it to the crime lab for a forensic search, and are coordinating with the Department of Justice/Internet Crimes Against Children.
22 Two boys were cited for disorderly conduct after they were allegedly "horsing around" and struck each other in the genitals, which then escalated into a physical altercation in the cafeteria at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, at about 12:15 p.m. April 30.
23 Police had to use a Taser to subdue a pit bull that was running loose inside the Red Roof Inn, 6360 S. 13th St., about 12:35 p.m. April 30. Milwaukee Area Domestic Animal Control Commission took custody of the dog, and the owner, a guest at the hotel, was cited for dog at large.
24 A man was cited for disorderly conduct after a road-rage incident turned physical at about 7:15 p.m. April 30. The incident started in South Milwaukee, and then escalated at South Chicago Road and East Garden Place, when the suspect got out of his vehicle, punched the victim in the face by his left eye and then fled. Police found the suspect at his home in Oak Creek, where he was cited.
25 A student was showing a closeup picture of a vagina on his cellphone to other students at Oak Creek Middle School, 9330 S. Shepard Ave., at 11:50 a.m. May 1. The picture, which was allegedly sent by a juvenile female who attends another school, was believed to have been deleted from the cellphone prior to police arrival.
26 A woman was arrested for disorderly conduct after she got into an argument with her ex-boyfriend and slapped him in the face in the parking lot at Pick 'n Save, 6462 S. 27th St., and then followed him to the parking lot at Milwaukee Area Technical College, 6665 S. Howell Ave., where she got out of her vehicle and started another verbal argument at about 5:40 p.m. May 1. The dispute was allegedly about the ownership of a vehicle.
27 A male was cited for disorderly conduct after he made threatening remarks to employees at WJ Kuhn Automotive Center, 8511 S. Howell Ave., at about 11:30 a.m. May 2. The suspect admitted to police that he was upset because his vehicle was towed while parked in the high school parking lot.
28 Officers arrested one woman for loitering, resisting/obstructing an officer and for carrying a concealed weapon (a pocket knife) in the parking lot at Pilot Travel Center, 2031 W. Ryan Road, at about 10:15 p.m. May 2. Police had been responding to a report that a group of women were asking truckers for sexual services. The woman admitted she was "asking for money" so she could get back to Ohio.
29 A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he threw shards of glass in his girlfriend's face, broke numerous glass objects, then pinned her down and slapped her in the face and pulled her hair in her apartment in the 8800 block of South Oak Park Drive at about 4 a.m. May 3. According to the victim, the couple had an argument that started in a bar in Milwaukee and escalated while they were driving to her residence. The Oak Creek Fire Department medical unit treated her injuries and she refused transport to the hospital.
30 A man reported an unidentified female in a vehicle was following him and taking pictures of him with her cellphone at the drive-thru at Starbucks, 8880 S. Howell Ave., at about 4 p.m. May 3. The woman told police she was just taking a "selfie" while waiting in the drive-thru.
· Five residents reported an unknown subject used their identity/Social Security number to file fraudulent 2013 tax returns between April 29 and May 6.
· Oak Creek police responded to three domestic violence calls and assisted with 19 rescue calls and three fire calls between April 29 and May 6.
