Burglary

1 A $150 rototiller was taken from a shed in the 800 block of West Walbrook Drive between July 26 and Aug. 18.

Theft

2 Sixteen batteries, valued at $1,632, were stolen from four semi trucks at Taylor Made Express, 190 W. Marquette Ave., between July 22 and 2:55 p.m. Aug. 12.

3 A cast-iron water pump, valued at $150, was stolen from a backyard in the 7800 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue between 8 p.m. Aug. 9 and 6:30 a.m. Aug. 10.

4 A United RN3 Recruit bicycle, valued at $500, was stolen from a residence in the 2500 block of West Sycamore Avenue prior to 8:45 p.m. Aug. 12.

5 Gas was siphoned from a vehicle in the 8800 block of South Oak Park Drive between 8:45 p.m. Aug. 11 and 8:45 a.m. Aug. 12.

6 A woman who had previously been arrested for retail theft was again arrested for shoplifting at Pick 'n Save, 8770 S. Howell Ave., at about 6:25 p.m. Aug. 13, Store officials found six cans of baby formula concealed in her purse. She was no longer welcome at any Pick 'n Save stores.

7 A trailer, valued at $100, was stolen from land located in the 9300 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue, prior to 7 p.m. Aug. 13.

8 Two headphones, valued at $240, and a tray containing about $15 in change were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 8100 block of South White Oak Drive between 8:30 p.m. Aug. 13 and 8:20 a.m. Aug. 14.

9 A $15 pocket knife, a $15 auxiliary cord and a $200 iPod Touch were stolen from a vehicle in the 8200 block of South Park View Court between 12:30 and 10:30 a.m. Aug. 14.

10 A $500 radar detector, a $250 GPS unit, $20 in change, and a small overnight bag containing 120 prescription narcotic pills were stolen from a vehicle in the 3900 block of East Maple Street between 2 and 10:30 a.m. Aug. 15.

11 A woman was arrested for shoplifting after she was seen concealing $69 worth of merchandise at Pick 'n Save, 2320 W. Ryan Road, at about 12:55 p.m. Aug. 15.

12 A man and a woman were arrested for shoplifting $120 worth of Luvs diapers at Woodman's, 8131 S. Howell Ave., at about 2:35 p.m. Aug. 15.

13 An HP laptop computer and about $500 worth of jewelry were stolen from an apartment in the 600 block of East Village Green Court prior to 3:45 p.m. Aug. 15. The victim gave police the name of a possible suspect.

14 A package containing 1,050 rounds of .22-caliber long-rifle ammunition was stolen off a porch in the 8100 block of South Wildwood Drive after it was delivered by FedEx on Aug.14. It is valued at $130.

15 A man was arrested for shoplifting a pair of safety glasses and a chisel set at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at about 4:35 p.m. Aug. 16.

16 A man was arrested for shoplifting a $25 knife at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at about 1:20 p.m. Aug. 17.

17 A man was arrested for theft after he and an unindentified woman were seen stealing honey from a yard stand outside a residence in the 8400 block of South Howell Avenue at about 3:25 p.m. Aug. 17. The two took $66 worth of honey and left only $7 in payment. All but two bottles of honey were recovered.

18 A $200 Pioneer radio was stolen from a locked truck in the 200 block of East Field Stone Circle between 9 p.m. Aug. 17 and 5:20 a.m. Aug. 18.

19 A $600 Pioneer audio receiver, a $150 iPod Nano and two Sony subwoofers, valued at $150, were stolen from a vehicle in the 200 block of East Field Stone Circle between 9:30 p.m. Aug. 17 and 7:55 a.m. Aug. 18.

20 A 50-inch Samsung TV and a 47-inch LG TV were stolen off the dock at Pilot Air Freight, 6724 S. 13th St., at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 14. The incident was captured on surveillance video.

21 A male was cited for shoplifting $433 worth of groceries at Woodman's, 8131 S. Howell Ave., at about 4:35 p.m. Aug. 18.

Assault

· A male was arrested at 8:20 a.m. Aug. 14 for first-degree sexual assault after he held a 12-year-old girl up to a wall and sexually assaulted her with his fingers. The incident allegedly occurred when the victim was staying overnight at a friend's house on July 8.

Drug possession

22 A man was cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the 4300 block of East Depot Road at about 9 p.m. Aug. 12.

23 A man was arrested for possession of marijuana at LaQuinta Inn, 7141 S. 13th St., at about 9:10 p.m. Aug. 13.

24 Police, responding to a report of a fight in the 8600 block of South Liberty Lane, arrested a male for possession of narcotics and drug paraphernalia at about 9:35 p.m. Aug. 14. A female was also arrested for possession of narcotics and cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

25 A male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at about 9 p.m. Aug. 16 in the parking lot at Arby's, 1920 W. Ryan Road. The suspect admitted to taking heroin earlier in the evening and police arrested him after finding a pipe underneath the driver's side floor mat of his car.

26 A male was arrested for possession of marijuana in the 4300 block of East Depot Road at about 10:25 p.m. Aug. 16.

27 A woman was arrested for possession of marijuana following a traffic stop in the 7100 block of South 27th Street at about 3:45 a.m. Aug. 17.

Drunken driving

28 A man was arrested for drunken driving after he fell off his motorcycle in the 100 block of East Puetz Road at about 11 p.m. Aug. 15. A breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.21. He was also arrested for possession of cocaine after police found a $5 bill with 0.1 gram of cocaine and a plastic bag containing .04 grams of cocaine in his right front pocket.

29 A man was arrested for drunken driving after his vehicle struck a pole in the 8900 block of South Aspen at about 12:45 a.m. Aug. 17. The suspect had fled, but police found his license plate, as well as many other vehicle parts, at the scene and followed a fluid trail to his residence, where he was taken into custody. He refused breath testing.

30 A man was arrested for drunken driving (second offense) after he struck a curb in the 7200 block of South First Street at about 6:05 a.m. Aug. 17. A breath test indicated a preliminary BAC of 0.14.

31 A man was arrested for drunken driving, and cited for running a red light and driving the wrong way on a divided highway, in the 8900 block of South 27th Street at about 2 a.m. Aug. 18. The suspect refused to take field sobriety and breath tests.

Accidents

32 An employee at Tri Star Recycling, 6524 S. 13th St., was transported to Froedtert Hospital by the Oak Creek Fire Department for treatment of a compound fracture after a forklift ran over his leg at about 8:40 a.m. Aug. 15. The victim told police he changed out the propane tank on the forklift and was standing next to it when he tried to start it when it lurched forward and rolled over his leg.

33 One person was transported to St. Luke's South Shore Hospital for treatment of neck pain after one vehicle rear-ended another in the 1700 block of West Drexel Avenue at about 7 p.m. Aug. 15.

Vandalism

34 Vehicles were vandalized at two residences in the 8600 block of South Glen Forest Court between midnight and the morning of Aug. 17.

Other

35 A resident in the 8600 block of South Liberty Lane reported on Aug. 13 that she was defrauded out of almost $78,000 by three different men she met on Match.com between Dec. 20, 2013 and July 19.

36 A man was cited for drinking open intoxicants in a vehicle on South Howell Avenue and West Ryan Road at about 6:10 p.m. Aug. 13.

· Oak Creek police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted the fire department with 14 rescue calls and two fire calls between Aug. 12 and Aug. 19.
