1 A woman reported her wallet, containing about $140, was stolen from her purse hanging from her seat during a movie at Value Cinema, 6912 S. 27th St., between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. July 20. One of her stolen credit cards was subsequently used in a fraudulent $469 purchase.
2 A $150 black Coach wallet was taken from an unlocked vehicle in the 1700 block of West Timber Ridge Lane between 7 p.m. July 20 and 10 a.m. July 21. A debit card was subsequently used to make $315 in fraudulent purchases.
3 A woman was arrested for shoplifting after she was seen concealing clothing, jewelry and perfume inside a diaper bag at Kohl's, 9035 S. Howell Ave., at about 3:15 p.m. July 22.
4 An unidentified male tried to take a $399 Bosch hammer drill of the shelf at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at about 1:15 p.m. July 23. When the suspect realized an employee was chasing him he dropped the drill in the median on South 27th Street, and drove off. The merchandise was recovered.
5 A Sears 12-gauge shotgun, valued at $200, was stolen a locked bedroom in the 6600 block of South 26th Street during the afternoon of July 23. The victim named a suspect.
6 Two unidentified males shoplifted a $33 bottle of whiskey at 7-Eleven, 1225 W. Rawson Ave., at about 11:50 p.m. July 23.
7 Two batteries, valued at $715 each, were stolen from equipment in a construction area in the 1800 block of West Ryan Road between 6 and 8:30 a.m. July 24.
8 A woman was arrested for shoplifting $162 worth of groceries at Woodman's, 8131 S. Howell Ave., at about 4:45 p.m. July 24.
9 A resident in the 1100 block of West Oakwood Road reported a white gold engagement ring with a diamond and two sapphires, valued at $4,000, and a $400 sapphire pendant on a white gold chain were stolen from a box on her dresser at 9:05 p.m. July 24. The victim stated the theft occurred sometime during the last six months, and also told police she suspects her cleaning people stole the jewelry.
10 An iPhone 5c was stolen from the women's restroom at Piggly Wiggly, 2201 E. Rawson Ave., between 10 p.m. July 24 and 7 a.m. July 25.
11 A woman was arrested for shoplifting $73 worth of merchandise at Woodman's, 8131 S. Howell Ave., at about 6:25 p.m. July 25.
12 A man was arrested for shoplifting, disorderly conduct and obstructing police at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at about 4:30 p.m. July 26. He switched bar code stickers on several items and attempted to make a fraudulent return, broke out of a holding room when apprehended, and then fought with security officers and scratched one officer in the face.
13 A plastic breast cancer donation bin was stolen from a counter at Mazatlan Mexican Restaurant, 10166 S. 27th St., between 11 a.m. and 8:15 p.m. July 27. The plastic bin was found on the ground, along with about 40 cents in change, near a motel room at Twilite Motel.
14 A rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the 7000 block of South Wildwood Drive between 1 p.m. July 24 and 1 p.m. July 27.
15 Twenty-eight six-volt batteries, valued at $100 each, were stolen from four separate solar-powered message board trailers in the 6600 block of South 13th Street between July 14 and July 28.
16 A man was arrested and cited for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia after he was pulled over for an equipment violation in the 1200 block of West College Avenue at about 3:15 a.m. July 23.
17 A male was cited for possession of marijuana in the 700 block of East Marquette Avenue after an off-duty Racine County sheriff deputy saw a drug deal happening in Manor Marquette Park at about 4:20 p.m. July 24.
18 A male was arrested for possession of marijuana after police found he had two jars containing a total of 40 grams of marijuana at a residence in the 8800 block of South Parkside Drive at about 12:50 a.m. July 26.
19 A man was arrested for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia after he was pulled over in the parking lot at Kwik Trip, 9535 S. 13th St., at about 12:35 a.m. July 29. Police found 49.5 grams of marijuana; 19 individually packaged bags of marijuana; two bags containing larger amounts of marijuana; a digital scale; rolling papers; a brown pipe with THC residue and three crack pipes in his possession.
20 A male was arrested for manufacturing/delivery of marijuana after finding a marijuana plant growing in a container in his backyard in the 200 block of East Susan Drive at about 12:45 a.m. July 29.
21 A man was arrested for drunken driving (second offense) in the parking lot at McDonald's, 9471 S. 13th St., at about 1:30 a.m. July 27. A breath test indicated a preliminary blood alcohol content of 0.22.
22 A man was transported to the VA Hospital after he lost control of his motorcycle on South Howell and West Rawson avenues at about 11:50 a.m. July 26.
23 Two people were transported to Wheaton Franciscan Hospital after they wiped out on a motorcycle on East Puetz Road and South Pennsylvania Avenue at about 1 p.m. July 27.
24 A vehicle was scratched, from the trunk lid down to the center of the left rear quarter panel, at Woodman's, 131 S. Howell Ave., between 6:30 and 7 p.m. July 23. Damage is estimated at $800.
25 The rear driver's side window of a truck was broken in the 1900 block of West Rawson Avenue between late evening July 23 and 9 a.m. July 24. Damage is estimated at $200.
26 A male was cited for vandalism after he grabbed a woman's iPhone and smashed it against a metal pole at Edgewood Elementary School, 8545 S. Shepard Avenue, at about 4:30 p.m. July 24. The male was upset because the victim was using her phone to record video an argument he was having with another person.
27 A beer bottle was thrown at a residence and broke a window in the 8500 block of South Parknoll Drive at about 12:05 a.m. July 25. Damage is estimated at $600.
28 A miniature horse was apparently attacked by coyotes in the 1900 block of East Elm Road between late evening July 22 and early morning July 23. The caller stated her horse had bite and claw marks on it.
29 Police arrested a man for bail jumping at Pick 'n Save, 6462 S. 27th St., at about 5:40 p.m. July 23. Police had been responding to a report of an intoxicated male sleeping in the bushes and discovered he was on bail for drunken driving with a condition of of maintaining absolute sobriety.
30 A male was cited for throwing or shooting arrows in the 3600 block of East Becker Road at about 7:45 p.m. July 23.
31 A man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he struck a man in the face during a road rage incident in the 7600 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue at about 6:10 p.m. July 25.
32 A resident in the 10300 block of South Monardy Lane was arrested for disorderly conduct after he became angry with police during a domestic incident regarding child custody at about 9:55 a.m. July 27.
· Oak Creek police assisted the fire department with 16 rescue calls and two fire calls between July 22 and July 29.
