1A dehumidifier, a nailer, a cashmere coat, two jackets and other clothing items were stolen from a home in the 10100 block of South McGraw Drive between July 4 and Sept. 27. An unlocked window at the rear of the residence was used to gain entry to the home. Loss is estimated at $2,425.
2Items were stolen from an office at South Shore Cinema, 7261 S. 13th St., between 4:12 and 4:38 a.m. Oct. 1. Video surveillance footage shows a male smashing the east door window and using an object to smash a hole in the drywall to enter the office area. He did not enter the main cash area, and it was unknown at the time of the report what was stolen from the business.
3Two 42-inch flat-screen televisions, valued at $500 each, were stolen from Horizon Health Care, 6416 S. Howell Ave., between 9:30 p.m. Oct. 2 and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 3. The building was locked, and there was no sign of forced entry. Employees would not provide police with names of any of the day's clients due to HIPPA restrictions, and there were no suspects at the time of the report.
4A $400 40-inch plasma television, a $350 32-inch television, a $200 videogame system, a $100 laptop computer, a $900 laptop computer, a $60 purse, a passport, a Social Security card and an $800 handgun were stolen from an apartment in the 6400 block of South 20th Street between 9 p.m. Oct. 4 and 3 a.m. Oct. 5. The apartment apparently was entered through an open patio door. Police are following up with a suspect.
5The rear license plate was stolen off a vehicle in the 2100 block of West College Avenue between 6 a.m. Sept. 27 and 6 p.m. Oct. 5.
6A piece of a rear license plate that held the registration sticker was stolen off a vehicle at McDonald's, 9471 S. 13th St., between 6 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Oct. 1.
7An $85 mountain bicycle was stolen at Pick 'n Save, 8770 S. Howell Ave., about 12:30 p.m. Oct. 2. The teenage boy wearing blue workout shorts, a black T-shirt and a Packers hat was seen taking the bike and stole and heading south on Howell Avenue.
8Catalytic converters were stolen off two company vehicles at Supplement Warehouse, 2440 W. Corporate Preserve Drive, between Oct. 2 and Oct. 4. Loss is estimated at $1,500.
9About $200 worth of scrap copper tubing was taken from a chained area at AJ Pyramid Mechanical, 6870 S. 10th St., between 5:30 p.m. Oct. 2 and 6:45 a.m. Oct. 3. The copper was cut out of six air-conditioning units that were left out in the back of the property.
10A $600 dual compound miter saw was stolen out of a locked truck in the 1400 block of West Ryan Road between 6:45 a.m. and 4:55 p.m. Oct. 3. The rear passenger-side window was smashed to gain entry. Damage is estimated at $500.
11Telephone lines were cut and stolen in the 9000 block of South Howell Avenue on Oct. 3. An AT&T employee assessed the scene and determined the incident was a copper theft.
12A male was arrested for shoplifting 12-pack of Pabst beer at 11 a.m. and a bottle of Newfoundland vodka at 6:15 p.m. at Pick 'n Save, 6362 S. 27th St., on Oct. 4. After being cited, he was taken by the Oak Creek Fire Department to St. Luke's South Shore hospital for treatment of alcohol withdrawal.
13Two females stole 32 85-ounce cans of baby food formula, one pack of diapers, a container of diaper wipes and two snack chip multipacks at Pick 'n Save, 8770 S. Howell Ave., between 7:55 and 8:10 p.m. Oct. 4. They are described as black females between the ages of 16 and 20, and they fled in a silver SUV. Loss is valued at $589.
14A female was arrested for shoplifting $389 worth of shoes and perfume at Kohl's, 9035 S. Howell Ave., at 11:35 a.m. Oct. 5. She also was cited for trespassing because of past shoplifting incidents at Kohl's.
15Two women shoplifted a cart filled with $101 worth of food items at Pick 'n Save, 6462 S. 27th St., about 7 p.m. Oct. 5.
16A male was arrested for stealing $40 out of a friend's truck at Mike La Susa's, 8955 S. 5th Ave., between noon and 4 p.m. Oct. 6.
17A stereo, a light kit and a purse containing an iPod and a wallet were stolen from a locked vehicle at Value Cinema, 6912 W. 27th St., between 7:30 and 9:25 p.m. Oct. 8. The driver-side door lock was punched out to gain entry. Loss is estimated at $900.
18A $150 refrigerator was stolen from the rear of the building at Kids N Care, 6901 S. 20th St., between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Oct. 9. The refrigerator was a gift to a painter working at the building, and was left there for him to pick up.
19A $50 computer bag containing a $1,000 laptop computer was stolen from a locked truck and a $2,000 touch screen radio/GPS unit was stolen out of another vehicle at Fairfield Inn, 6460 S. 13th St., between 7 p.m. Oct. 9 and 5:30 a.m. Oct. 10. A window was smashed on both vehicles.
20A male was arrested after he stole $90 worth of drill bits at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., then took off running at 2:50 p.m. Oct. 10. He was stopped in the Walmart parking lot, where he admitted stealing the drill bits to sell them for cash.
21A student and his brother were arrested and cited for possession of marijuana at 9:35 a.m. Oct. 2 after they were seen smoking marijuana on a school bus on the way to Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road. When confronted by the bus driver, they threw the joint out the window. After the two admitted smoking marijuana on the bus, a school employee went back and found the joint on Ryan Road and the brothers were cited after it tested positive for THC.
22Two males were arrested for possession of LSD, marijuana and drug paraphernalia the 8100 block of South Glenfield Drive after finding nine blotter papers that tested positive for LSD, two plastic bags containing a total of 11 grams of marijuana and a glass pipe that tested positive for THC inside an inoperable vehicle they were occupying with several other people at 5:45 p.m. Oct. 3.
23A man was arrested for drunken driving after an officer pulled him over for traveling east in the westbound lane at a high rate of speed in the 7600 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue at 1 a.m. Oct. 3. He admitted to drinking three beers and two or three shots, and his blood-alcohol content was 0.18. He also was cited for speeding and received a warning for an unsafe lane deviation.
24A man was arrested for drunken driving after he was pulled over for swerving and driving up onto the median in the 7800 block of South 27th Street about 2:05 a.m. Oct. 4. His BAC was 0.20.
25A man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, and was cited for driving with a revoked license after he was pulled over for speeding and swerving out of his lane several times at 27th Street and Drexel Avenue at 12:10 a.m. Oct. 5. The driver admitted having "a couple of drinks," and told the officer he was driving his intoxicated friends to their homes. His BAC was 0.19.
26A male was arrested for drunken driving and cited for obstructing an officer, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to stop at a stop sign after he drove his car into a backyard in the 700 block of East Randy Road and passed out in the driver's seat at 5:55 a.m. Oct. 5. His BAC was 0.11.
27A man was arrested for drunken driving after he passed out while attempting to pull his car out of a Mobil Gas Station in the 9500 block of South 27th Street at 11:50 p.m. Oct. 6. He refused a breath test and was taken into custody.
28A man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, and driving with a revoked license after he backed his car through a backyard fence, then left the scene and was pulled over in the 100 block of West College Avenue at 1:45 p.m. Oct. 9. His BAC was 0.19.
29One person was taken to St. Francis Hospital for treatment of back pain after a vehicle rear-ended another vehicle, which then pushed a third vehicle that was attempting to turn into a driveway on Puetz Road at Howell Avenue about 7:50 a.m. Oct. 1. The driver of the striking vehicle was cited for inattentive driving.
30A vehicle was scratched with a key while it was parked at Tri City National Bank, 6400 S. 27th St., between 6:15 and 8:15 p.m. Oct. 9. Damage is estimated at $1,000. Police are following up with a suspect.
31The passenger-side window of a Dodge Ram was smashed at South Shore Cinema, 7261 S. 13th St., between 10 p.m. Oct. 9 and midnight Oct. 10. Nothing was stolen. Damage is estimated at $500.
32Two male students were cited for disorderly conduct after a verbal argument turned physical at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 30.
33A male student was cited for disorderly conduct after he refused to go back to his classroom and caused a disturbance, shouting obscenities in front of staff and students at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, at 9:25 a.m. Oct. 2.
34Two male students were arrested for disorderly conduct after a physical altercation at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, at 9:40 a.m. Oct. 2.
35A male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after an officer found a needle, tourniquet, small tin and cotton balls in his coat pocket after he was stopped by security and questioned about a possible shoplifting incident at Target, 8989 S. Howell Ave., at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 2. He later was arrested for shoplifting after he admitted stealing a $199 Bose stereo item Sept. 30, which he said he sold to a drug dealer for heroin.
36Three males were arrested for disorderly conduct and one of them was arrested for battery and trespassing after they got into a physical altercation over a child custody issue in the 7900 block of South 13th Street at 3:25 p.m. Oct. 3. In addition, a female was arrested for disorderly conduct, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a schedule IV narcotic after police found muscle relaxers, a blunt cutter and a broken pen casing with white residue in her purse.
37A woman was arrested for possession of child pornography after a man called police at 6 p.m. Oct. 5 to report he found various photos and pictures depicting sex acts between his girlfriend and her 2-year-old son. The woman's vehicle was pulled over in the 8400 block of South 13th Street at 8:10 p.m., where she was arrested. On Oct. 11, the woman was again taken into custody and turned over to the Racine Police Department, where she was wanted for questioning regarding the sexual abuse of a child.
38A resident of the 8900 block of South Parkside Drive woke up to find a strange dog walking inside his home and eating everything he could find at 5:50 p.m. Oct. 6. The caller did not know how the dog got inside his home because his home was locked. The dog, a female yellow lab mix with a pink collar, rabies tag and purple nail polish on her toenails, was not microchipped and was taken to the Police Department for pickup by MADACC.
39A boy was cited for underage possession of alcohol after he brought two water bottles containing tequila to Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road, at 9:40 a.m. Oct. 7.
40A male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia when police found a needle in his front pants pocket and a cooker used to cook heroin in his right coin pocket after he was pulled over and cited for driving with a suspended license in the 1300 block of West College Avenue at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 7.
41A female was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after police found a hypodermic needle, cotton balls, two candleholders with heroin residue and a rubber band inside her purse during a search of her vehicle at Red Roof Inn, 6360 S. 13th St., at 9:55 p.m. Oct. 10.
· Oak Creek police responded to three domestic violence calls and assisted with 22 rescue calls and two fire calls between Sept. 30 and Oct. 10.T
