BURGLARY
1A wireless security monitor, valued at $200, was stolen from a home in the 8300 block of South Palomino Drive between 10 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. Sept. 16. A sliding glass door was smashed to gain entry. Damage is estimated at $1,000.
THEFT
2A purse containing keys, credit cards and a driver's license was stolen from a car in the 8500 block of South Golden Fields Drive between 10 p.m. Sept. 11 and 6:35 a.m. Sept. 12.
3A 42-year-old Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting after she and her 13-year-old son selected $171 worth of groceries and tried to leave without paying at Pick 'n Save, 6462 S. 27th St., at 11:20 a.m. Sept. 12.
4A 40-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for shoplifting after store security officers saw him pull a $17 package of files off a shelf and conceal it in his waistband at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., shortly after 1 p.m. Sept. 12.
5A 64-year-old Fort Atkinson man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen taking parts valued at $100 out of a texture sprayer box and concealing them in his pocket at Menards, 6800 S. 27th St., at 4 p.m. Sept. 12.
6A reciprocating saw in a plastic case was stolen from an unlocked car in the 9400 block of South Nicholson Road between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 15 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 16. Loss is estimated at $130. Four other unlocked cars at the residence also were entered but nothing was taken from them.
7About $20 in change was stolen from two unlocked vehicles in the 10300 block of South Justin Drive between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 15 and 8 a.m. Sept. 16.
8A wallet containing $50, an ID card and gift cards was stolen out of an unlocked vehicle in the 10300 block of South Justin Drive between 12:30 and 8 a.m. Sept. 16. A tennis racket and Nike running shoes, valued at $70, were stolen out of the trunk of the car. The tennis racket and one shoe were found in a ditch in the 3100 block of East James Drive.
9A $200 GPS unit, $30 in change, and two $100 Williams Sonoma gift cards were stolen from an unlocked truck, and a $60 DVD player and a Coach clutch purse were stolen out of an unlocked car parked outside a home in the 10400 block of South Justin Drive between 1:30 and 7 a.m. Sept. 16. The purse was later found and returned to its owner.
10A 1998 Plymouth Neon, valued between $600 and $1,000, was stolen from a parking lot in the 1900 block of West Timber Ridge Lane between noon Sept. 16 and noon Sept. 17.
11A 17-year-old South Milwaukee boy was arrested for shoplifting after he concealed a pair of $90 shoes in his backpack at Kohl's, 9035 S. Howell Ave., shortly after 4 p.m. Sept. 17.
ASSAULT
12A 15-year-old Oak Creek boy, a 15-year-old Oak Creek girl and a 16-year-old Franklin boy were arrested for battery after they punched two boys in the face at Miller Park & Pavilion, 315 E. Groveland Drive, at 3:50 p.m. Sept. 11.
DRUG POSSESSION
13A 27-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for possession of marijuana after officers discovered 1.5 grams of marijuana in his room at LaQuinta, 7141 S. 13th St., at 10:55 a.m. Sept. 11.
14An officer on foot patrol arrested a 25-year-old Milwaukee man for possession of possession of cocaine, possession of oxycodone and possession of drug paraphernalia while investigating a suspicious vehicle at Bender Park, 4503 E. Ryan Road, at 5 p.m. Sept. 13.
DRUNKEN DRIVING
15A 23-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested for drunken driving at Rawson and Clement avenues shortly after 2 a.m. Sept. 12. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.22.
16A 27-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, and cited for driving with a suspended license after he was found passed out in his vehicle with the engine running in the 6900 block of South 10th Street shortly after 9 p.m. Sept. 15. His BAC was unavailable.
17An 18-year-old Oak Creek woman was arrested for drunken driving in the 9200 block of South 27th Street at 1:30 a.m. Sept. 16. Her BAC was 0.16.
18A 25-year-old Oak Creek man was arrested for drunken driving at 27th Street and Grays Lane at 2:30 a.m. Sept. 16. His BAC was 0.14.
VANDALISM
19Aluminum soffits and gutters were torn off a building and left lying on the ground in the 6900 block of South 20th Street between Sept. 5 and Sept. 14. No damage estimate was available.
20Someone drove over a residential lawn and struck a sign in the 1000 block of East Manitowoc Avenue between 8:30 p.m. Sept. 10 and 6:30 a.m. Sept. 11. Damage is estimated at $150.
21A vehicle's windshield was smashed while parked at Oak Park Apartments, 8745 S. Oak Park Drive, between 2 p.m. Sept. 11 and 11:20 a.m. Sept. 12. Damage is estimated at $300.
22A car's rear window was smashed in a driveway in the 3700 block of East Puetz Road between 11:30 p.m. Sept. 13 and 2 a.m. Sept. 14. Damage is estimated at $300.
OTHER
A 26-year-old Cudahy man was arrested for exhibition of child pornography at 10:54 a.m. Sept. 13 after he posted several topless images of a 17-year-old girl and an image of his penis on her Facebook page. The suspect apparently hacked into the girl's Facebook account in order to post the pictures.
23A 26-year-old Illinois woman was arrested for forgery and obstructing an officer after she gave false information to police during a fraud investigation at American TV, 9191 S. 13th St., at 5:35 p.m. Sept. 14. Police were called after the woman attempted to use a fake driver's license to purchase $4,000 worth of iPads.
24A resident in the 7500 block of South Manor Avenue called police to report that "neighborhood kids" left a plate full of vomit on his back porch, rang his door bell and then ran away at 12:30 a.m. Sept. 15. The responding officer noted the plate was full of food, not vomit.
25A 19-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for disorderly conduct after he came to his ex-girlfriend's house and assaulted her new boyfriend in the 2400 block of West Carroll Avenue at 12:15 p.m. Sept. 17. The victim was taken to Wheaton Franciscan for treatment of minor injuries.
26An 18-year-old Union Grove man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after an officer found a grinder and a glass pipe with THC residue in it in his car at the Oak Creek Little League Complex, 7800 S. Sixth St., at 8:45 p.m. Sept. 17.
FIRE CALLS
27An 18-year-old Greendale man was cited for negligent use of burning materials after an ash from his hookah apparently started a fire on the second-floor balcony of an apartment in the 8700 block of South Country Drive shortly after 7 p.m. Sept. 11. Damage to the apartment is estimated at $1,000.
Oak Creek police responded to one domestic violence call and assisted with 12 rescue calls and two fire calls between Sept. 11 and Sept. 17.
