Schaller-Eisen

Jan. 18, 2012

Alexandra Schaller and Jakob Eisen of Milwaukee were married Oct. 15, 2011, in Fox Brook Park in Brookfield.

Parents of the bride are Tom and Terri Schaller of Brookfield. The groom's parents are Mitch and Deb Eisen of Door County and Gabby Eisen of Oak Creek.

Judge JoAnn Eiring from the town of Brookfield officiated the 5 p.m. ceremony, which was followed by a reception in the park.

The bride wore a simple ivory gown she made herself, and she carried a sunflower bouquet.

The bride earned her bachelor's degree with honors in sociology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She is a customer support team lead with Kohl's Corp. in Menomonee Falls.

The groom earned his bachelor's degree with honors in psychology from UW-Milwaukee. He is a wraparound supervisor with La Causa Inc. in West Allis.

The couple planned a seven-day honeymoon in Kauai, Hawaii.

The two met when both were working at a Milwaukee treatment center for teens. While vacationing together in California in April, the groom proposed on the sky tram at the San Diego Zoo.
