Sarah C. Walkenhorst of Elkhart Lake and Timothy M. Barber of Oak Creek are planning an Oct. 24, 2009, wedding at St. John's United Church of Christ in Sheboygan.
Parents of the engaged couple are Phillip and Judith Walkenhorst of Elkhart Lake, and Donald and Julianna Barber of Oak Creek.
The bride-to-be, a 1994 graduate of Elkhart Lake High School, earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has a bachelor's degree in English from Lawrence University. She is an attorney with Perkins Coie in Madison.
The future groom, a 1996 graduate of Oak Creek High School, earned his law degree from Marquette University and has a bachelor's degree in government from Ripon College. He is an attorney with Axley Brynelson in Madison.
The couple became engaged in Madison on Aug. 2, 2008. They met while clerking for the Honorable Jon P. Wilcox on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
