David Widenski of Franklin earned his doctorate in chemical engineering from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge in May.

The following graduates earned bachelor's degrees, or other degrees as noted, from Lakeland College in Sheboygan in May: from Franklin, Christine Giacalone, criminal justice/sociology, Michael Hannon, business management with honors, Steven Parato, specialized administration with high honors, and Jaclyn Vargas, business management; and from Oak Creek, Barbara Nimz and Shelley Tilghman, master's degrees in business administration, Tina Brandos, business management, Rizza Kinney, marketing, Ka Thao, computer science, and Nou Vang, accounting.

The following graduates earned bachelor's degrees, or other degrees as noted, from the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in January: from Greendale, Lisza Johnson, sociology/anthropology, and Jennifer Trucks, communication; and from Oak Creek, Caitlin Clark, communication, Sohrab Khakh, master's degree in business administration, Susan Lemanski, sociology/anthropology, and Briana Maczka, studio art.

The following graduates earned bachelor's degrees, or other degrees as noted, from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in May: from Franklin, Elizabeth Brachmann, associate degree, and Evan Carver, web and digital media development; from Greendale, Sarah Jordan, communicative disorders, summa cum laude, and Carly Povlick, business administration-Spanish; from Hales Corners, Allison Heller, communicative disorders, and Michelle LaFever, clinical laboratory science-medical technology; and from Oak Creek, Aaron Leon, English, and Kaylie Lukas, biology.

Nathan Wingfield of Greendale made the spring semester honors list at Concordia University, Nebraska, in Seward.
