Join us on Friday Septembeer 24th from 7:30-11pm for our 15th beer tasting. The Vault, $50 per ticket, Special tasting area with beers so expensive you probably haven't had them before! This includes access to all other Beerfest areas. Advance tickets $35, $40 at the door. New tasting area in the ballroom, THE MALT SHOPPE, with the newest and most popular flavored malt beverages on the market. There will be over 150 brews to sample while you are listening to the one and only Pat McCurdy under the entertainment tent! Join us for Oak Creek Summer Concert Series on Wed. July 14th for Happy Schnapps Combo. Wisconsin's riotous Polka Party Band will provide a wild evening of entertainment. The Happy Schnapps Combo reminds you to "binge responsibly"! Wed. July 28yh Pat McCurdy. A Milwaukee musical legend and summer concert series favorite. Pat has been entertaining crowds with his comical lyrics and hilarious stage antics for more than 25 years. Wed Aug. 18th Chasin' Mason. One of Wisconsin's premier county rock bands, Chasin' Mason plays the hits from the 90's and today. Come hear all your favorites as only Chasin' Mason can deliver. 7pm-9pm all shows are held at The Center, rain or shine. Concessions and children's play area available. Bring your lawn chairs, picnic baskets with snack and your favorite beverage!

Get your tickets while you still can for Mother's Day Brunch on Sunday May 9th. The Community Center along with the Kiwanis Club will be busy serving a great brunch. Choose morning seating from 10am-11am or the afternoon seating from noon-1pm. Advance ticket purchase is required. Adults $17, Seniors 60 and over $15, Children 4-10 years $8, under 4 are free. Get your Father's Day All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast tickets also for Sunday June 20th, 9am-11am. Adults $8.75, Seniors 60 and over $7.75, 3-10 years of age $5, under 3 are free!! Along with the pancake breakfast there will be a Bloody Mary Bar with all the fixin' for $4, Keep The Glass!!! Advance ticket purchase is required for this event also. Tickets for both days are on sale now!!!

Save the Date!! Saturday, March 27th is the OCCC 30th annual Auction and Super Cash Raffle. From 6:30pm-10:30pm we will feature hundreds of great items in the silent/live auction and raffle packages. Additionally, drawings will be conducted for women's jewelry, airline tickets and unique sports memorabilia. We will end the evening by announcing 17 lucky winners of the SUPER CASH RAFFLE. First place has a prize of $4000 and a total payout of $7500. Purchase tickets in advance for the SUPER CASH RAFFLE or the night of the event, tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25. To commemorate the Auction's 30th Anniversary, all guest in attendance on the 27th will be eligible to enter a special TV raffle, winner gets a 50 inch LG Electronics Flat Screen Plasma HDTV, raffle tickets are $1 each.

The committee for Citizen of the Year is now accepting applications. Applications are available at The Center or on line at www.occenter.com. Recipient may be a person, couple, or group who live or work in the City of Oak Creek. Activities involved in and accomplishments may be in one of the following categories: Civic, Social, Welfare or Education. The Center is open Mon-Thur 8am-8pm Fri. 8am-4pm and Sat. 8am-Noon. "There is no kind deed, no community service, no special help for those in need, without those who serve".

The event includes sampling of over 30 quality wines and 30 Wisconsin Craft Beers, commemorative glasses, live musical entertainment and light appetizer service. Representatives from World Market will be on hand to provide information on the latest trends in the Wine and Craft Beer Industry. $55 per person includes a buffet dinner by Center Catering, free beer and soda, dessert station, party favors, music for all ages and late night appetizers! If you want to come to the "Party Only", tickets are $30 per person after 8:30pm doors will be open. Have a party of six or more people, not a problem. Let us know, we will reserve a table for you. Menu for the evening: 5 oz. grilled beef tenderloin, 4 oz. grilled salmon, baked chicken, baked potato, steamed whole green beans, tossed salad with dressing, dinner rolls, coffee, milk, cookies, brownies and carrot cake. The Oak Creek Community Center and "Citizens for A Happy Holiday" are excited to present the FREE event to residents of Oak Creek. The festivities begin at 5pm in the Community Center/Library parking lot with holiday caroling. After the tree is lit at 5:15pm, all present are invited inside the Center to warm up with hot beverages, snacks and more holiday music. Santa makes a special appearance, arriving on a Oak Creek Fire Truck and will stay until all little boys and girls get a special stocking!!

The Phoenix Players of WI present: Let Him Sleep 'Til It's Time For His Funeral by Pat Kehret
This comedic performance involves a family who each misinterpret the reasoning behind a surprise party. After a wife readies to give her husband a birthday surprise funeral in honor of his 50th birthday, events take an unexpected turn and allow for theories of murder, a life-threatening disease and an affair to surface amongst the family members. Friday November 20th $22 per person for the show and dinner. Doors open 6pm, dinner 6:30pm, show to follow. Sunday November 22nd, $13 per person for the show, beverages and sweet bar. The National Night Out Board is excited that we will hold our 13th annual event. On Tue. August 4th from 6-9pm this highly attended event will hold special short, fun safety sessions with exhibition booths, raffles, food and fireworks!! Learn about crime prevention and fire safety. Make sure to visit our food area where you can purchase inexpensive food items and stop by for a T-shirt while supplies last. New this year we will offer $10 fire extinguishers, while they last. Line up for the fireworks at 8pm, walk to the field with you free flashlight (one per family) and we hope you and your family have learned something about the community we live in!! The mission of NNO is designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness: Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police/fire community partnership: Generate support for and participation in anticrime efforts and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborshoods are fighting back.

Harvest Bible Chapel, in partnership with the Oak Creek Community Center, announces a community fundraiser to support the families affected by the Patrick Cudahy fire and to honor the brave firefighters who put out the flames.
This free event will be held at The Center’s outdoor Summer Concert series on Wednesday, July 22. Residents can enjoy an evening of live music by the band Speakeasy from 7-9 pm. Bring lawn chairs and pack a picnic basket. Inflatable attractions and relay races will be available for kids on The Center’s grounds located at 8580 S. Howell Ave. in Oak Creek.
Donations received during the event will go to the Patrick Cudahy Workers Relief Fund operated by UFCW Local 1473. Local fire fighters will also be honored during intermission.
“We wanted to do something to help hurting families,” says Joe Martinez, Senior Pastor of Harvest Bible Chapel in the Franklin-Oak Creek area. “But we also wanted to honor the fire fighters who risked their lives to serve our community.”

Our Farmer’s Market is held the second and fourth Thur. June through Oct. Spots are $16 per date, stop at The Center for registration or download the application from our website, www.occenter.com We are looking for Art Vendors to participate at this event.
