Heritage Days in South Milwaukee Starts July 23rd
Evening on the Avenue: Check out music, entertainment, children’s activities, food, community vendors and resources. A raffle will benefit South Milwaukee Human Concerns. Enjoy Celtic music by the Garlic Mustard Pickers. Visit the Friends of Mill Pond to purchase Duck Race tickets and other items. Come to Milwaukee Avenue at 10th Avenue in South Milwaukee from 4 to 9 p.m. for an evening of fun on July 23!
South Milwaukee Downtown Market Launches July 23: The new South Milwaukee Downtown Market will open on the same night as South Milwaukee’s Evening on the Avenue on July 23. Stop by 11th and Milwaukee Avenues each Thursday, 3:30 to 7:30 p.m., for fresh produce, bakery, flowers, and other offerings from area vendors and entertainers. Let's really talk about the south side. Not your point of view. The St.Francis police dept. is spending money like no other law enforcement agency around. Tell me why so many full time police officers and overtime for such a sm.community. And why is one of the officers Obst attending school functions and he is 2nd on overtime pay. Does the school need a cop to stand in the corner and watch graduation services??? Is this community that dangerous you tell me. Wake up people.
If you read my bio, my blog focuses on fun things to do, not to voice my opinion on what the various city governments are doing. There are plenty of other bloggers that are doing that already. I have no interest in going down that road (or the time). It seems that you have quite an opinion yourself. If you want to voice it, so please do that via your own blog. Thank you.
